Apple Watch Gets a Makeover: Series 10 Rumored to Bring Significant Upgrade

The Apple Watch Series 10 is expected to have a major design refresh for its 10th-anniversary edition, according to rumors and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The new smartwatch will be thinner and come in larger 45mm and 49mm sizes, an upgrade from the current 41mm and 45mm options. The watch will also feature 3D-printed parts, which will help reduce production costs. Additionally, the watch will have a new band attachment design that uses magnetic parts, and will replace OLED panels with microLED screens.

While there have been few leaks about new fitness and biosensing capabilities, the watch is expected to include blood pressure sensing, a feature already available on some Samsung and Huawei smartwatches. Experts are also working on noninvasive methods for measuring biomarkers like blood glucose level and alcohol concentration, as well as sweat analysis, which could provide valuable health and workout data.

No official price has been announced, but a generation-over-generation price hike is likely. The Apple Watch Series 10 is expected to be released in the fall, possibly alongside the iPhone 16 and Mac updates, at Apple's next hardware event.
