According to a circular issued jointly by the Ministry of Education and the National Cultural Heritage Administration, efforts will be intensified to improve the training of personnel in cultural heritage-related majors at vocational schools.
The document states that both agencies will collaborate to ensure that the training aligns with the sector's practical needs. Based on research by the cultural heritage administration, the education ministry will provide guidance to local governments on developing relevant specialties.
The focus will be on developing specialties such as ancient architecture engineering and cultural relics archaeological skills, with improvements in courses on cultural relics restoration and cave temple protection.
Additionally, the document calls for the introduction of new courses on heritage-related digital technologies and the protection of murals and sculptures.
Furthermore, it emphasizes the need to improve the quality of teachers and encourages the inclusion of experienced field workers as part-time teachers in vocational schools.
