Google is expected to launch the Google Pixel 9 smartphone series later this year, alongside the Pixel Watch 3. According to renders released by 91Mobiles, the new smartwatch will closely resemble the Pixel Watch 2, featuring a circular bezel-less display with a rotating crown and a 1.2-inch screen. It will likely be available in black with a matching strap, with additional color options anticipated at the official release.
The Pixel Watch 3 may include an ultra-wideband (UWB) chip for enhanced location tracking and short-range communication, similar to Apple's Precision Finding technology in the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2. Rumors also suggest that the Pixel Watch 3 might have a slightly thicker design to accommodate a larger battery and will be available in two sizes, 41mm and 45mm, a change from the previous model which only came in a 41mm size.
More details about the Pixel Watch 3 are expected to surface before its anticipated October announcement, a month when Google traditionally unveils new Pixel products.
