According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the upcoming Apple Watch Series 10 models will have larger displays than previous versions, with one option likely nearing the size of the Apple Watch Ultra. Additionally, the Series 10 is expected to be thinner.

Apple is also developing more advanced health features for its smartwatches, but some may not be ready for the next release. These include tools to measure high blood pressure and detect sleep apnea. Gurman notes that Apple has encountered significant challenges in developing these technologies. Sleep apnea monitoring, in particular, requires blood oxygen saturation measurements, which Apple cannot currently provide due to a patent dispute.

A new version of the Apple Watch SE with a plastic shell instead of aluminum may also be released this year, potentially lowering the starting price. Both the Apple Watch Series 10 and the next-gen Apple Watch Ultra will feature new chips for improved performance.
