Google has opened applications for the 2024 Google Conference Scholarships, offering full sponsorship for African university students to attend top conferences on the continent.

The Google Conference Scholarships aim to remove obstacles that prevent underrepresented groups in technology and business from attending premier conferences. Google believes that diversity in attributes, experiences, and perspectives is essential for creating world-changing tools. They also want everyone to have the chance to pursue industry connections, network with peers, and establish a career in technology.

Requirements:

1. Be a full-time student at a recognized university in Africa in need of conference travel funds.

3. Be the sole or joint first author of the accepted paper.

Duration and Benefits

The scholarship covers:

• Full travel expenses and conference attendance.

• A $100 USD stipend for miscellaneous travel costs.
