The Shenzhou-18 taikonauts on board China's orbiting space station have completed their second spacewalk, the China Manned Space Agency announced. The spacewalk, which ended at 10:51 p.m. (Beijing Time) on Wednesday, lasted about 6.5 hours.
Ye Guangfu and Li Cong, who were assigned the spacewalk duty, worked on multiple tasks including installing space debris protection devices for pipelines, cables, and key equipment outside the Tiangong space station, as well as conducting an extravehicular inspection. They received assistance from the space station's robotic arm and researchers on Earth. Meanwhile, Li Guangsu remained inside the space station.

The trio have safely returned to the Wentian lab module. Having completed one-third of their six-month mission, they are scheduled to perform numerous in-orbit scientific experiments and technological tests.
