Timekettle has introduced its AI translator earbuds to the Olney Independent School District (Olney ISD) in Texas, aiming to support inclusivity in education. The district serves a diverse student body with languages spoken by students from countries like Venezuela, Argentina, and Mexico. To improve classroom communication and engagement, Timekettle is utilizing its X1 AI Interpreter Hub.
Language barriers have historically posed significant challenges for Olney ISD in its mission to provide equitable education. To address this, the district has implemented the X1 AI Interpreter Hub, a device that facilitates hands-free conversations and provides one-tap handheld translation.
The technology allows teachers to maintain visibility while delivering lessons, ensuring accurate translations and full student comprehension. Veronica Fobbs, a teacher at Olney ISD, commented on the ease of using the device: "The device makes it very easy for us to speak, and then for each and every individual to be able to hear in their own language and to understand."

Elementary Principal Matt Caffey praised the system’s unique ability to deliver real-time content directly to students without the need for third-party translation. "It uniquely provides real-time content directly, which no other system has been able to deliver before," he stated.
Students have also noticed the benefits of the new technology. Naibelyn Hernandez, a student, shared how the device has improved her learning experience: "It helps me understand my teacher, who can express herself well when speaking to me."
Established in 2016, Timekettle focuses on bridging language gaps and facilitating cross-cultural communication through advanced technology. The company’s products are designed to support inclusivity in various sectors, including education.
