The 1st Edition of the Think Canada Education Annual Essay Competition offers an opportunity for young bright minds in Nigeria and Ghana to influence the future of education. Participants are invited to showcase their creative solutions to educational challenges in these regions.

Eligibility Requirements:
Entry is free and open to high school students, sixth-form college students, and recent graduates (Year 2023) from Nigeria and Ghana. Applicants must fit into one of these categories:
- Final Year and Penultimate High School Students
- Sixth-Form College Students
- Recent High School and Sixth-Form College Graduates (Graduation Year 2023)

Participants must choose one of the following topics:

- The Impact of Technology on the Creation and Consumption of Art
- The Rise of Personalized Learning: Tailoring Education to Individual Needs and Abilities
- Mental Health and Well-Being in Education: Strategies for Supporting Students’ Emotional Needs
Submission Guidelines:
- Choose one essay topic (one essay per institution).
- Submit essays in PDF format via a Google form by August 19th, 2024.
- Essays should not exceed 1000 words, excluding diagrams, tables, endnotes, bibliography, or authorship declaration.
- Double-space essays with size 12 Times New Roman font.
- Save essays with the participant’s full name, institution, and selected essay topic. Example: Abraham Lincoln_Accra High School_Talents and Competition in Emerging Markets.
- The candidate’s name should not appear within the document.
- No footnotes; endnotes and bibliography are allowed and should be clearly titled.
- Provide an email address of an academic referee familiar with the candidate’s academic work, preferably a school counselor, teacher, or another responsible adult who is not a relation of the candidate.
