This upgrade increases the Mach-E GT's torque by 100 lb-ft, boosting it from 600 to 700 lb-ft while maintaining the horsepower at 480. This enhancement improves the vehicle's 0-60 mph time from 3.8 seconds to 3.3 seconds and the quarter-mile time from 12.4 seconds to 11.8 seconds.


Availability and Access

The Performance Upgrade can be selected when purchasing the Mach-E GT or added later via the FordPass smartphone app. Once purchased, the performance increase is unlocked within minutes. This update is exclusive to the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT.


Upgraded 2024 Mach-E Lineup

For 2024, the Mustang Mach-E lineup includes faster charging times and extended range for some trims. The 2024 Mach-E GT now offers an EPA-rated range of 280 miles, 10 miles more than the previous model. The lineup also benefits from a new in-house-designed motor and thermal improvements, enhancing performance and efficiency.


Competitive Pricing and New Trim Levels

Ford has confirmed lasting price cuts across the Mustang Mach-E lineup for 2024. The most affordable model, the Select with the Standard Range battery, starts at $41,890. The Premium model with Standard Range starts at $45,890, while the entry point for all-wheel drive is $48,890. The sporty GT versions are priced at $55,890, and the high-performance Mach-E Rally starts at $61,890, which is $5,000 less than initially anticipated.

Improved Charging Capabilities

The 2024 Mach-E fast-charges from 10-80% in just 36.2 minutes, 8.8 minutes faster than the original launch time. The Standard Range pack charges in 32.3 minutes, a 5.7-minute improvement. Ford's upgrades also include EV Routing functionality with Google Maps via Android Auto or Apple Maps via Apple CarPlay.


Additional Upgrades and Features

The Performance Upgrade, priced at $995 as a standalone option or $745 when bundled with a wheel-and-tire upgrade, brings substantial enhancements to the GT models. Ford also introduced a Bronze Appearance Package for the 2024 Mach-E GT, featuring 20-inch bronze-painted alloy wheels, a bronze mesh grille, Ford Performance front seats, active damping, and Brembo front brake calipers. This package costs an additional $1,995.


New Charging Network Integration

Ford has integrated over 15,000 Tesla Superchargers into its BlueOval Charge Network, providing Mach-E owners with access to a comprehensive charging infrastructure. The use of complimentary Tesla charging adapters further enhances convenience for Ford EV owners.
