The updated weather tool is now live on Ecosia for both desktop and mobile users. While the desktop version offers comprehensive data, the mobile version has slightly less information due to space constraints, missing details like sunrise and sunset times. Nevertheless, the key features, such as up-to-the-minute alerts and detailed weather information, are still available on mobile, ensuring users stay informed on the go.

By simply entering their location and the word "weather" into Ecosia's search bar, users can access the new weather tool. The interface displays current conditions, including humidity levels and AccuWeather's RealFeel temperature index. Additionally, alerts at the bottom of the window provide crucial warnings, such as extreme heat or poor air quality. These alerts are linked to AccuWeather's Air Quality Scale, a color-coded guide that educates users on how pollution may impact their health, with fuchsia pink indicating hazardous conditions.
