Keysight, known for its advanced hardware, software, and services, particularly in electronic measurement, is now contributing to educational resources aimed at fostering the next generation of technology innovators.


Empowering Educators with STEM Resources

IEEE TryEngineering, an initiative under IEEE Educational Activities, offers educators free online access to culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate instructional resources. These resources are designed to support teachers and community volunteers in delivering effective STEM education to students of various age groups and experience levels.


Exploring Circuitry with Keysight-Sponsored Lessons

A variety of STEM lesson plans are already available through this partnership, catering to different educational levels. One of the most popular lessons, "Series and Parallel Circuits," introduces students to basic electrical concepts. This lesson, which involves building circuits with wires, light bulbs, and batteries, has been accessed over 100 times each month, indicating strong interest from educators.

Another recent addition, "Light Up Name Badge," covers the fundamentals of circuitry, including series and parallel circuits, and electronic component symbols. Students can then apply this knowledge in a hands-on design challenge, where they create a personalized, light-up badge.


Advancing Workforce Development Through STEM Outreach

Debra Gulick, Director of Student and Academic Education Programs for IEEE Educational Activities, highlighted the significance of Keysight’s involvement, stating, "Keysight’s commitment to workforce development through pre-university STEM outreach makes it an ideal partner for IEEE TryEngineering."
