Medium, the popular online publishing platform, has announced a significant expansion of its Partner Program, now including writers from 75 new countries, with 20 African nations among them. This move broadens the platform’s reach and allows more writers around the globe to earn money for their published content.

Expanded Eligibility for African Writers

Among the newly included countries are 22 African nations such as Algeria, Angola, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, and Egypt. Writers in these regions can now participate in Medium’s Partner Program, allowing them to monetize their stories as part of a broader global community. This expansion covers every country supported by Stripe, the payment platform, making it possible for writers in over 115 countries to earn through Medium.
