In an unexpected move, Samsung has launched two of the four ultra-short throw (UST) projectors it previewed at CES 2024—the Premiere 7 and Premiere 9.
These projectors are designed to deliver high-quality visuals with ease, thanks to their ultra-short throw technology, which allows them to be placed directly underneath a wall or screen for vivid image projection even in bright environments.
Key Features: 4K Resolution and Advanced Visual Enhancements
Both the Premiere 7 and Premiere 9 projectors offer 4K resolution, ensuring sharp and detailed images. They are equipped with AI Upscaling technology to enhance content to ultra-high resolution and Vision Booster, which automatically adjusts brightness and contrast according to different lighting conditions.

One of the major benefits of Samsung's new projectors is their ease of setup. Samsung claims that users only need to plug in the device and connect it to Wi-Fi to get started. However, this convenience comes at a cost.
The Premiere 7 is priced at $3,000, while the Premiere 9 is available for $6,000 on Samsung’s digital storefront. To sweeten the deal, Samsung is offering a free second-generation Freestyle projector with the purchase of either model, but this offer is only available until September 15.
