Innovative Design and Battery Technology

Equipped with a 79 kWh lithium-ion battery (net), the ID.3 GTX Performance offers a WLTP range of up to 601 km. This battery supports DC quick-charging up to 185 kW, enabling a charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 26 minutes. The vehicle's sporty low center of gravity and ideal axle load distribution are achieved by positioning the battery in the sandwich floor, centrally within the vehicle.

Advanced Chassis and Driving Dynamics

The ID.3 GTX Performance features GTX-specific running gear with stronger stabilizers, a MacPherson front axle, and a five-link rear axle. Progressive steering, standard in the ID.3 GTX, ensures responsive handling. The modified Sport DCC adaptive chassis control and newly configured Vehicle Dynamics Manager utilize advanced sensor signals for precise control of the shock absorbers, enhancing road holding and driving dynamics.

These include a GTX-specific front bumper with a black air intake in a diamond-style design, and an optional 20-inch Skagen GTX wheel rim in black. The interior features numerous GTX-specific elements, enhancing the vehicle's sporty appeal.

Latest Software and Infotainment System

The new ID.3 GTX Performance comes with the latest generation of software and an infotainment system featuring a 12.9-inch display and the IDA voice assistant with ChatGPT. Optional features include an augmented reality head-up display, a redesigned Wellness app, and a premium sound system from Harman Kardon, offering an improved and intuitive user experience.

Comprehensive Safety and Assist Systems

To ensure comfort and safety, the ID.3 GTX is equipped with state-of-the-art assist systems as standard. These include cruise control (upgradeable to Adaptive Cruise Control ACC), Autonomous Emergency Braking with pedestrian and cyclist monitoring, Lane Assist, and Dynamic Road Sign Display. The Car2X traffic hazard alert function is also standard. Additionally, Connected Travel Assist with online data utilization is available, providing assisted longitudinal and lateral guidance, lane changing on motorways, and lane guidance without detected lane markings when online data is available.

Volkswagen continues to push the boundaries of electric vehicle performance and innovation with the new ID.3 GTX Performance, offering an enhanced driving experience and advanced features to meet the demands of modern drivers.
