Volvo Cars UK is expanding its EX30 range by introducing the new entry-level Core specification. This addition makes the award-winning fully electric small SUV more accessible to a broader customer base. The new EX30 Core joins the existing Plus and Ultra grades, providing customers with more choices.
Powertrain Options and Features of EX30 Core
The EX30 Core offers two powertrain options: the Single Motor, with a driving range of up to 209 miles, and the Single Motor Extended Range, which can achieve up to 295 miles according to official WLTP data.
This model boasts a generous equipment specification, including a rear parking camera, rear parking sensors, automatic LED headlights with active high beam, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The 12.3-inch touchscreen system comes with Google built-in, and a dashboard-mounted soundbar ensures excellent sound quality. The Single Motor Extended Range version also features an energy-saving heat pump in its climate control system to optimize power usage and driving range.
Pricing and Availability for EX30 Core
The on-the-road prices are set at £32,850 for the Single Motor version and £37,050 for the Single Motor Extended Range. All EX30 models come with three years/60,000 miles of servicing, including wear and tear maintenance for items like wiper blades and brake discs and pads. The EX30 Core is available to order now, with the first customer deliveries expected in early 2025.

The Volvo XC90, a seven-seat large SUV, is receiving specification upgrades to enhance its style and luxury profile. The new Plus Edition and Ultra Edition trim levels will replace the current Plus and Ultra grades, respectively.
Upgraded Features in XC90 Plus and Ultra Editions
The Plus Edition introduces perforated Nappa leather upholstery with ventilation for the front seats, tinted windows, and 21-inch alloy wheels (up from the previous 20-inch wheels). The Ultra Edition now features 22-inch wheels (previously 21-inch), with prices for both grades including all exterior paint choices. These new specifications are available with the B5 petrol and T8 petrol-electric plug-in hybrid powertrains.
Pricing and Availability for XC90 Upgrades
Orders for the new XC90 Plus Edition and Ultra Edition are open now, with first deliveries expected this autumn. The on-the-road prices for the XC90 models are as follows:
